Hi, I’m Ali Madani!
I am a researcher and founder at the intersection of AI and Biology. I currently serve as the CEO of Profluent where we are decoding the language of life with LLMs. I care deeply about understanding nature to cure disease. Previously, I was the architect of the ProGen moonshot at Salesforce AI Research. I completed my PhD at UC Berkeley and love building startups, with prior experience as a founder and early employee. I have led work accepted in Nature, NeurIPS, ICLR, and Cell family journals which also has been covered by the NYTimes, WSJ, Fortune, TechCrunch, Forbes, BBC, Endpoints, and Axios.
